The board team of the TÜV Nord-vereine currently consists of two board members.
Dipl.-Ing. Thomas Rappuhn
Thomas Rappuhn studied mining at the Technical University in Clausthal and graduated with a Dipl.-Ing. and Master of Engineering in 1988.
In 1988 he joined the former Deutsche Texaco AG, later RWE Dea AG, Hamburg, as an engineer. He subsequently held various positions as a reservoir engineer, production manager and drilling manager at different locations. He has worked in Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Norway.
In 2001 he became Deputy Managing Director of Dea Norge AS, Oslo, and in 2003 was responsible for the German business of RWE Dea AG as Director.
In 2006 he was appointed to the Executive Board of RWE Dea AG. In this role, he was responsible for the company's entire operating business.
From 2010 to 2018, he was Chairman of the Executive Board of RWE Dea AG, which later became DEA Deutsche Erdoel AG.
In 2018, he became a member of the Supervisory Board of TÜV Nord AG and has been a member of the Executive Board of TÜV Nord e. V. and TÜV Hannover Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. since 2022. In March 2023, he was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TÜV NORD AG. Since 1 January 2024, he has also been Chairman of the Board of Management of the TÜV Nord-Vereine.
Dipl.-Kfm. Holger Sievers
From 1978 to 1981, Holger Sievers worked at the auditing and tax consulting firm Treuarbeit AG in Hanover, which is now known as PWC. He then moved to the Salzgitter Group in 1981, where he worked in the steel industry until 1991, most recently as Head of Finance and Accounting at a major subsidiary. From 1991 to 1997, he worked at TÜV Hannover/Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. in Hanover and took over the position of Commercial Director and member of the Executive Board in 1993. In 1998, TÜV Nord e. V. in Hamburg merged with TÜV Hannover/Sachsen-Anhalt e. V. (HSA), where he continued to hold the position of Commercial Director.
From 2004, he was part of the merger of TÜV Nord, TÜV HSA and RWTÜV, which led to TÜV NORD AG in Hanover. From 2009 to 2012 he was Chief Human Resources Officer and Labour Director, leaving TÜV NORD AG in 2012.
During his time at TÜV NORD AG, he was also active as a member of the Executive Board of TÜV HSA e. V./TÜV Nord e. V. and as Deputy Chairman, a position he still holds today. He has also been a member of the Supervisory Board of TÜV NORD AG since 2018.
